“Get Your Team Together to Rock-Out for 24 hours!”
PLACE: Valley Adult Day Services, 227 E. Oak Ave., Porterville
DATE: February 26th –February 27th
TIME: 5pm-5pm
PADS’ Rock-a-thon is a 24 hour Rocking Chair-a-thon annual fundraiser to support the people in our community who have Alzheimer’s disease or other related forms of dementia and also our caregivers.
Goal: To raise $25,000 in support of VADS’ Caregiver Respite Program.
Need 5 people to form a team. Each team needs a Rocker and someone from the team in the Rocker, not off their Rocker, for 24 hours. Each team member’s responsibility is to sign up friends to pledge $$ per hour for their Rockin’. All monetary donations are tax deductible and all proceeds benefit PADS.
Team Captain Meeting is to be held at VADS…Wednesday, January 6th at 5:30 p.m.
Each team must provide a minimum donation of $275:
- Team must have a Team Sponsor…$125.00
- Team Member Registration fee is $30 per person. (Team minimum is 5 rockers)
Registration includes T-Shirts, Music, Movies, Free Food, Prizes, and Team Competitions.
Team Member Registration fees are due by February 19th
